Mara Gerst

My course of study in the Humanities reflects my areas of interest at that time, versus a strategic path to a career. However, it led me to explore work with museums and historic homes, as well as a desire to help those organizations achieve fiscal health. I have been working in the nonprofit sector now for more than 25 years and founded my firm, Gerst Grants & Nonprofit Consulting, in 2015 to support nonprofits through fund development and grant writing.
