Steve Kerr

I grew up in an academic family and we spent our whole childhood living the humanities. Everything we learned was about education, compassion, and empathy – and learning about the world and embracing cultural diversity.

I really lean into my writing background as a coach. Being a coach is all about collaboration. Studying the humanities really gives you a more well-rounded education. If you are a coach or if you’re a leader of any kind, you have to learn to communicate well and to collaborate. I chose the humanities because it offers an incredibly well-rounded education and teaches people to connect with one another and collaborate.
